Hello, my name is Silver McElroy and I am the owner of Purrfect Scents Wax Melts. I started making wax melts as a hobby and fell in love with the creative freedom that there is in the wax world. Starting with the scent blending and then the artistic side of making beautiful wax I found a wonderful way to spend my spare time and let my creative side run free. I am also a huge animal advocate and I spend a lot of my time doing fundraisers for local animal rescues in my areas. The reason I started Purrfect Scents Wax Melts was because I realized I could take advantage of my love of making wax and use it to help raise money for local rescues. I specialize in scented wax melts and body products. I hope you will enjoy my creations as much as I enjoy making them! Thank you for checking out my webpage.
Fundraising for Animal Rescues
I organize several fundraisers during the year to benefit local animal rescue groups. I wanted to find a way to use Purrfect Scents to raise additional funds for these rescues. What I am currently doing is in my FaceBook group I do a fundraiser I call a “Catapalooza”. It is a raffle type fundraiser where spots are purchased and a winner is drawn for a prize. A different rescue group is chosen for each Catapalooza and 100% of the proceeds from the raffle goes to the rescue group.

Please be sure to read the following disclaimers before purchasing any products from me.
This is very important so please be sure to read! I have cats, my cats are never near my products or the area where I make or store my products. My workshop is in the back of my home and there is a door that is kept closed to the hallway that goes to the back of the house and the cats are not allowed past this door nor anywhere near my workshop. Where I store my finished products and package them up for shipping is also in the back of the house by my workshop. I take extra precautions to keep all products free from pet fur, even going to the extent of changing my clothes when I work. When I take a lunch or dinner break I change my clothes before I go out into the kitchen or living room to eat and change again before going into the workshop. That being said, I repeat, I have cats and even with all the precautions I have put in place it is impossible to guarantee that there could never be the possibility of some pet fur getting on something I’ve made. If this is an issue, please do not buy my products, I am being honest and upfront about this. I do not believe it will be an issue but am putting this disclaimer out there for the record.
Next, I use dyes in my wax. Why do I mention this? Because many times I’ve seen posts in wax groups on Facebook from people who have had their silicone cup liners stained by wax and complained about it. I am making it clear now, I use dyes in my wax that may stain your silicone cup liners. If you have an issue with this please do not buy my wax or do not use in your silicone cup liners.
There, now that we got that out of the way, I hope that does not deter anyone from purchasing my products and helping me raise money for local animal rescues. If it does I am sorry but I must be honest about this, I prefer to make this public knowledge so that all customers can make an informed decision before buying my products. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
